The exhibition launched a Klovićevi Dvori Gallery series exploring major periods of European art represented in Croatian collections. It brought together around one hundred paintings and prints, decorative art objects, and a reconstruction of a woman's costume based on a painting from the Mimara Museum.
Particular attention was paid to the history of collecting and the provenance of artworks. Preparation was linked to the ZagArtColl_ProResearch project on provenance in Zagreb collections, supported by the Croatian Science Foundation.
The Mimara Museum's participation gave visitors access to works from its Dutch painting collection while the museum building was closed.
